Concepcion Presbyterian School, established in 1997, is the second-oldest of the Presbyterian schools. During the year 1997-1998, without a school building, Concepcion Presbyterian School held class in Concepcion Presbyterian Church with 100 students. As classrooms were completed in the new building during the next two years they were used in addition to the church.
Beginning in the year 2000-2001 with 7 classrooms completed, all classes were held in the new building and the school had grown to 165 students.
Today the school, under the leadership of headmistress, Esther Melendez, has 9 classrrooms, an office, a teacher workroom, a chapel, a library, 9 teachers and 190 students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Concepcion Presbyterian School is a government-aided school.
Teacher's salaries are paid by the Belize government and all other expenses are paid from student fees and fund raisers.
Student fees are $30 Bz/year.
