The Presbyterian Church in Belize (est. 1987) has a long-held appreciation for
the vital role of Christian schools in strengthening the church and family, in
preparing the next generation of leaders and in transforming culture.
This commitment is evidenced by the establishment and maintenance of two preschools, two elementary schools and one high school where children learn God's Word and learn to think Biblically about all areas of life.
The Presbyterian Schools in Belize are run in association with the Presbyterian Church in Belize. We hold to the doctrines and beliefs of the Presbyterian Church in Belize and work along side its presbytery, providing a Christ-centered education to the children of Belize.
The government of Belize works with churches in the country under a unique partnership. Under this partnership the government pays teacher salaries while the church runs schools, picks teachers, buys supplies and pays electric bills.
Our mission, with God's help, is to establish schools which will:
- Equip students with the ability to think biblically about all of life.
- Prepare young Belizean people with the knowledge and skills necessary to become good stewards of God's creation and establish churches, homes, schools, businesses and medical clinics that glorify God and promote the work of the Church, God's means for advancing His Kingdom on earth.
- Endeavor to help students grasp God's grace in such a deep and personal way that they would be compelled to move out into their world, serving others and bringing the reconciling work of Christ into every area of life.

Mission to the World (MTW) is the mission-sending agency of the
Presbyterian Church in America.
MTW has been partnering with Presbyterian Church in Belize since 1996.
Involvement has centered on training and equipping national pastors and Christian school teachers,
as well as operating the Presbyterian Medical Clinic
in Patchakan in the northern district of Belize and promoting several micro-enterprise ventures.
MTW Belize Team Vision Statement:
To promote God’s Kingdom in Belize by assisting the local church in it’s
movement of planting churches that are vibrant, mature, and reproducing.
